***EDIT: Wayfair doesn't retain my original paragraph spacing so this may be a bit hard to read!*** Very close to be a very good bed frame. ************** Pros: ************** -------------- 1. The white linen seems to be of decent quality and is a good color. -------------- 2. Build quality seems to be well made. -------------- 3. Slats are covered with some felt like material. -------------- 4. Assembly steps aren't overly complicated. -------------- 5. Good height for me and has space for a 7" tall storage container underneath. ************** Cons: ************** -------------- 1. All the washers and metal plates were corroded, however, the bolts themselves seem ok. I made a trip to the hardware store to get replacement washers. I also cleaned up the metal plates with isopropyl alcohol as much as I could just so that not too much of the corrosion gets on the mattress and sheets. I kept wiping with isopropyl alcohol-soaked towels until I no longer saw any corrosion residue coming off. -------------- 2. The screws inside the rounded corners by the head board were difficult to screw in due to the tight curved space. I had to go dig out a very short screw driver from my tool box. I guess I should have expected this due to the curved design, but I thought I should point that out. -------------- 3. One corner of the foot board was a struggle to attach to the side board due to some sort of misalignment, either the brackets are offset too far or the pre-drilled hole is too far. It took a lot of muscle to force the two pieces to line up just enough to force the screw in. It does appear to have a larger gap between the two boards at this corner than the other corner that had no issues, but it's not too bad once assembled. -------------- 4. One corner of the foot board had about a 2 x 3-inch area that didn't get enough batting/filling so it looks slightly flatter than the rest of the bed frame, but again, not a huge deal, since it will mostly be covered up by bed sheets. -------------- 6. The linen covering the curved portion on the head board appears to be under stretched tension, but not sure if it is really avoidable due to the design. At least it's no too visible from a distance. -------------- 7. The foot board doesn't have good support for the mattress so I sink in a little bit more sitting there compared to sitting at the left or right side, but not a huge deal. -------------- 8. There were 4 small spots that had either some dirt or corrosion residue on them, but they wiped away cleanly, just something to look out for when buying white linen furniture. ************** Despite all the cons I listed, I still like this bed frame, I just wished there wasn't so much corrosion on the metal hardware, which made me feel like I shouldn't have paid full price for it.. I worry if a grandchild ever jumps or sits firmly on the 1x4 support wood slats, they will never hold.. Scott. N. Salt Lake, UT. Wed May 13 2026

This spindle bed has a distinctively vintage design, right at home in any main bedroom or guest room. It's thoughtfully crafted from solid wood, and comes in a variety of hues to fit your room's style and color scheme. Our favorite part is the combination of a spindle-style headboard and footboard, which are connected by a simple slat system. They both strike rectangular silhouettes with rounded edges for a welcoming feel overall.

Very solid frame. The biggest issue we had was not being aware that this bed needed a box frame. I assumed it came with slats to support the mattress, but was told that was not the case after contacting customer service about the issue. After having the frame for a month or so we have noticed a couple spots where the wood is splitting, but it's nothing that is deteriorating the sturdiness of the product. It is purely cosmetic, and nothing I am overly concerned about.. Alexandria. Reno, NV. Thu Jul 23 2026

The Lexi has a royal quality to its design, with tiers reminiscent of a crown. We know it would make Princess Kate swoon. Light assembly is required. Some assembly is required. Legs come separate from the bed and must be attached to the underside of the bed. Side and foot rails must be attached.

I had high hopes for this bed and unfortunately after waiting two months for delivery, sadly I was disappointed. This bed is not designed to be a platform bed as Wayfair described. As a matter-of-fact, if you go to the manufacturer's website they don't even offer a platform version of any of their beds. There are slats that come with the bed, but they are so low (I believe to place a box spring on) that your mattress comes to the top of the side rail. The slats are cheap and are not even secured to the bed frame and set too far apart, they cannot support a latex or foam mattress. Other than that the bed is well made and the velvet is beautiful. The design in particular also does not look like the picture which shows a very peaked top, the headboard is much flatter on the top than what is pictured. Wayfair handled the return fairly well, but I am left awaiting a new order for something similar from a different website.. Jessica. Mount Pleasant, SC. Sat Dec 09 2017
