Solid Wood Walnut Murphy Beds

When all folded up and tucked away, this piece probably just looks like your classic cabinet – but expand it and you've got a bed that's ready to sleep guests in seconds! Measuring 25.7'' H x 64'' W x 80.3'' L and concealing a queen bed inside, it's perfect for spare bedrooms and dens alike. Plus, it lends traditional appeal to your ensemble with a solid wood and metal frame with 4 color options to choose from.

I was looking for an extra bed without the commitment of a full-time bedroom, and this Murphy bed fit the bill. It took about 2.5 hours to put together by myself. I referenced the assembly youtube to help get the actual visual process along the way. There were reviews about the mattress not being super comfortable (I would agree- functional, not what I would offer to a guest), so I purchased a memory topper for when it's being used. It is easy to transform to a bed. I did also make sure I had a rug to put under it, as someone commented that the one frame piece is not connected to the rest of the frame when in bed form and might move around. It is a quality piece of furniture, looks lovely in both forms, and has made my bonus room an extra space for guests.. Sarah. Forks, WA. Sat Nov 12 2022

We absolutely love our Mandujano Murphy Bed in the Barnwood finish. After downsizing, we needed our larger office to double as a guest room, and this bed is perfect. It’s solid wood, extremely well built, and the design is brilliant — when folded up, it looks like a beautiful chest of drawers, and the bottom drawer is a real storage drawer that holds pillows, sheets, and a blanket. We bought the matching mattress thinking we might upgrade it later, but it’s genuinely comfortable. When our twin sons were visiting, one son slept on it with a plush topper and liked it so much he stayed in the Murphy bed even after the guest room became available when his brother departed. The Barnwood color blends perfectly with my wife’s Italian furniture, and the stowed design leaves room for a wall‑mounted TV above it. The built‑in power module with USB and standard outlets is a thoughtful touch. This bed is stable, comfortable, compact when stored, and very reasonably priced for the quality. We’re thrilled with it. Full endorsement.. Gerry. Charlotte. Sat Aug 22 2026

It arrived in 2 packages, with quite a few dings in the corners of the wood pieces. I still put most of it together since many of the corners wouldnt be seen. Unfortunately the main front piece had a big ding and split at the corner so we requested a replacement part. The replacement came, and it was damaged in the same area! Definitely not great quality materials, and it should probably be packed in 3 packages so it's not so heavy for transit. Would not recommend.. Nicole. Sarasota, FL. Thu Jul 03 2025

You don't have to sacrifice space nor style with the purchase of a Murphy Bed Chest. Complete with a fold-out full mattress, the Kimsey Murphy Bed chest is the perfect combination of comfort and convenience; when tucked away, the bed appears as an elegant chest of drawers. When it's time for bed, simply unlatch the doors and lower the mattress supports. With the additional bonus of a built-in charging station, you can keep a cellphone charger or alarm clock close by.

Assembly was two people. I didnt find it difficult, just took time. The white painted finish has some cracking. Not too noticeable. My daughter spent 5 nights on the bed -said it was comfortable. She did crack one of the slats in two sitting on the edge. I may be able to repair. Net net, it is serving its purpose for occasional house guests. I flanked the cabinet with two tall bookcases also purchased on Wayfair. Jillian. Saint Paul, MN. Sun Sep 13 2026

Bought this as a guest bed in our FL house. It was delivered in 4 boxes & “some assembly required” took 3 mechanically inclined guys a little over an hour to assemble. There was one “ding” in the top but not bad enough to return. It has not been used yet so I can’t say how comfortable the mattress is. Great concept, looks good in the room, offers storage for bedding in the drawers & doesn’t take up a huge amount of floor space. Purchased during Wayfair Days so got the best price that I had seen in months of tracking.. Margaret Sikora. Valparaiso, IN. Tue May 12 2026

This bed is a beast! Very well packed! Absolutely no damage from shipping. A lot of work to put together, but we expected that. Very heavy. It’s more comfortable than most pull out bed or Murphy beds I’ve tried to lay on. Good find!. Mary. Sioux Falls, SD. Tue Jan 10 2023

Easy to use, easy to love.

I adore this cabinet/murphybed. The appearance and mechanism is excellent. The mattress is surprisingly comfortable. The price for the whole is meh. What did not esrn it a five star ratng is that the boards located by the latch are manufactured with a thin sheet of wood. When this was put together and the screwing mechanism needed to be completed, the screws split the wood because of the thin sheet that was used in its manufacture. :/ When I went to report to Wayfair to file a claim, there was no specific way to describe the issue because of the way Wayfair's reporting system is set up.. The cabinet is much bigger in scale than I had imagined. The dimensions listed are accurate.
