This desk is countertop height. I did not read the measurements as I assumed it was a standard desk height. I took 5 inches off each leg with a saw and it looks great. A little more work than I wanted to do but this is a solid well constructed desk. The top is preassembled you just have to assemble the legs. Very easy. This desk is as nice as I hoped it would be. The top is solid and the finish is rich and pretty. The drawers are not fully attached to the top.
