I’ve had this couch for a few weeks now and honestly, I really like it. It’s super comfortable and the leather feels really soft—like smooth and almost buttery, which I wasn’t expecting. It definitely looks and feels more expensive than it is. One thing I love is how the reclining works. When you recline the seat back, it doesn't take up more space behind the couch. That was a big plus for me. My only complaint is where they put the buttons to recline. They’re tucked between the seats, and there’s a small gap there to reach them. It works, but I’ve already noticed it’s really easy for things (like your phone or crumbs) to slip into that gap, which is kind of annoying. Overall though, I’m happy with it. Despite few reviews and never having made a Wayfair purchase this large, I bought this and 2 of the matching console loveseats. Overall, I'm content with that purchase and my experience. Pros: I'm really pleased with the quality of the material. It feels very durable and looks pretty high end. Assembly was quick and fairly easy. Really clean looking, very comfortable, and large sized (we can fit 4 people on this when it's not reclining). The recliner lever lets the recliner up, but to close it, you have to force it closed with your legs. I like this because it seems like less stress on the reclining mechanism (whereas other recliners sound awful when you use the lever to close them). Cons: The armrests are tricky to get locked in. Some pieces had quality control issues - rust on the metal base/feet, some small tears, rough stitching and one spot completely missing stitching. Nothing so extreme or noticeable though, so I did keep them. The worst thing about this is that the three main pieces don't want to stay locked into one another; they keep popping out. It's tricky to line them up in the first place, then they just pop out of place when the recliner is moved up or down. I wish they made that connection easier or had a locking mechanism to keep it in place. It'll take separating the pieces and finagling with the feet height to hopefully help the alignment of the connections, but we got tired of messing with it. Also one odd tidbit - the middle piece shipped from a separate location (literally opposite ends of the country) than everything else, so timing of the deliveries won't be all the same. So easy to put together even by yourself--only need to attach the arm rests and legs. No tools needed as.the screws and hex key are provided. The hardest part was taking it out of the box (or in my case, ripping the box away from the couch). As a couch, it feels great if you like stiffer support, like I do. If youre looking for a cloud to sit on, this aint it. Similarly the bed portion is kinda of stiff for sleeping but its easily solved by a mattress topper. Its super easy to fold and unfold, but mine didnt come with directions, so here are some tips. To flatten it to a bed, unfold the seat to flat first. Then unzip the pockets in the back of the backrest and unbend the legs for the backrest. After, gently pull the backrest forward first (like the backseat of your car when youre trying to get to your trunk from the inside of your car) and then push it all the way back to the floor. If you want to recline, you have to pull it up to the desired angle from the flat position. Note, the back has a huge exposed zipper (see pic) so if you dont put it against a wall, youll probably want a throw blanket or something else to hide it. Fair warning, it seems smaller than a twin in terms of width so larger guests and guests who roll in their sleep may feel uncomfortable with the width. It took awhile to get here but after assemble, I wasn’t sad about it. The texture of this chenille fabric is soft but yet looks very high end fabric. The seating is firm but it is just what I wanted . The two pillows are made very well and really finish off the look of this sofasleeper. Now to get to the nifty part. You pull out the bottom front and you basically have a two or even three small people chaise to put your feet if. When you want it for a bed, just lay down the back piece. This is so good when the grands or company stay over. I wish I could take better pictures but this is a super small room but if you want a very nice looking sofabed, a firm seat, and beautiful atheistic, I think you should get it.
