The material and color of the couch are very nice. However, the couch is very low to the ground. I waited a week after opening the package before anyone sat on the couch to give it full time to expand. It is at least 2.5 inches shorter in seat height than described. The back of the couch height is at least 3 inches shorter than the described height. The seat is surprisingly firm but the back of the couch is low that if you sit back quickly without the larger cushions you could feel it on your back but still comfortable overall with the larger cushions..
