This boucle bed is very cute. It looks just like the pictures advertised. The bed feels sturdy and was EXTREMELY easyquick to put together— it maybe took me a little over an hour simply because of the amount of screws you have to install. The color of the boucle is a fabulous off white, and the feet are a complementary darker wood with gold caps. The boucle material is soft, doesn’t look or feel cheap, and is easy to clean with a quick vacuumlint rollspot clean. Logistics-wise, it came in one tall, skinny box that was heavier than I could carry by myself. It wasn’t impossible to shimmy it inside alone, but it’d definitely be safer moving with two people given the size. The ONLY negative about this piece is the height of the headboard. Size Purchased: California King Overall very content with this purchase. I live alone so assembly was a bit difficult but I managed by myself (6'4" dude), but for most buyers I'd imagine it would take two people to handle it. During assembly very important to leave bolts at joints loose so that they can be wiggled into tight fighting place at final stages. Prior to laying down the mattress on top, the smaller composite wood legs in the middle of the frame did not touch flush with the ground. However, with laying down the mattress and lying on it they support the weight and the frame feels sturdy/doesn't wobble. We needed a replacement specifically to accommodate a new adjustable base, since our old bed wasn’t compatible. We absolutely loved our previous bed and hoped to find something that wouldn’t completely compromise on style, as so many adjustable base-friendly designs tend to look cookie cutter and uninspired. We took a leap of faith ordering this bed, not fully sure it would work, but it turned out to be a good match with our existing side tables and dresser.
