This boucle bed is very cute. It looks just like the pictures advertised. The bed feels sturdy and was EXTREMELY easyquick to put together— it maybe took me a little over an hour simply because of the amount of screws you have to install. The color of the boucle is a fabulous off white, and the feet are a complementary darker wood with gold caps. The boucle material is soft, doesn’t look or feel cheap, and is easy to clean with a quick vacuumlint rollspot clean. Logistics-wise, it came in one tall, skinny box that was heavier than I could carry by myself. It wasn’t impossible to shimmy it inside alone, but it’d definitely be safer moving with two people given the size. The ONLY negative about this piece is the height of the headboard. This Queen size bed headboard has three height sizes and storage! Assembly was about 4-5 hours, however another person was needed to add the hydraulic platform. Every part assembled was sturdy and seemed to be well made. I was expecting, maybe some sort of “board” to be at the bottom of the storage area instead of just a piece of material. However, it will definitely work as a dust guard. The framing fabric is soft and tightly woven (I didn’t see any loose thread). The hydraulic lift is controlled with a strap, and also has a locking strap to prevent uncontrolled pop-ups and the slats have attachment connectors to stay positioned. We were moving, so although this bed came with white glove delivery, we were unable to have them set it up before as it needed to be moved to a new house. Because of that we had to build it ourselves. Unfortunately, a couple pieces of the hardware were not delivered with the bed, including 24 feet of the bed, but it was an easy enough fix to go get them from a hardware store. What an EASY build. I always appreciate not having to put together 50 billion pieces. This bed took no more than 15 minutes to put together. I gave it 4 stars simply because the footboard had some stains. However, the bed is gorgeous timeless. Overall, the bed frame looks very pleasing once assembled and topped with a mattress. Without the mattress, though, it does feel a bit cheap. The frame is made up of metal bars that simply slot into place—there are no screws or fasteners to secure them, so if you shift the bed, the bars can fall out. The upholstered section attaches with Velcro, which makes me question how well it will hold up over time if any pressure is applied to the frame.
