It's a good looking bed and exactly as seen in the photos.. we are happy with it .however, it is a complicated item to assembly. we have assembled a lot of beds,, this one's design was not the easiest to connect the pieces for assembly. The instructions say it takes 2 people and about 30-40 minutes to assemble. It took us close to 2 hours to work through and connect the pieces together at times in awkward positions. This bed looks exactly like it does in the photo. Beautiful! The velvet is really plush and the frame is quite sturdy. Assembly was easy and took my husband and I less than an hour to assemble. I'm only giving it four stars because of a fairly sizeable gap between the mattress and the frame. Other people have pointed this out, so I was aware, but the gap is wider than I had expected. I like the bed enough that I'm willing to live with that one flaw, but do be aware, it's not a snug fit.. Kathryn. Los Angeles, CA. Thu Jul 16 2020

Beautiful platform bed frame and headboard. Very easy to assemble. Received just in time for major hip surgery. Using with a brand new 14 hybrid mattress, which fits perfectly. These mattresses do not require the use of a box spring, which is one of the reasons for selecting this platform bed. The many horizontal slats should provide adequate support along with the middle support bar. 2026 - This platform bed has moved across the states several times and still looks like brand new. If any dust accumulation or most stains come right off with Folex. :). Wanda. Aubrey, TX. Fri Jun 26 2026
