Great additional storage for the price. I have a higher bed (no box frame, but a platform frame + 12" mattress) and it's too low for me to easily open the drawers. I had measured in advance and knew this before I bought it. My plan is to buy or fashion some solid wood risers, then fix it to the wall. It was ok to assemble, a few joins felt imperfectly lined up despite my best efforts. The adjustable hinges for the cabinet doors are great but easy to overdo - a quarter turn goes a long way. Adjust, close and look at it, adjust close and look at it, adjust. I got mine pretty flush. Overall, would recommend as an alternative to (if you don't have space for) night stands.. Victoria. San Diego, CA. Tue Oct 27 2026

This headboard was surprisingly easy to put together, even working alone. It only took me about 15 minutes from start to finish, which was a pleasant surprise. As far as appearance goes, I'm a little torn. It looks nice enough in the bedroom, but the overall finish looks a bit cheaper than I expected. I'm also not a big fan of the seam running down the center. I think it would look much nicer without that visible split. That being said, I absolutely love the functionality! The shelves are perfect for keeping my books, Kindle, and other nighttime essentials within reach. I have an adjustable bed, so another big benefit is that the headboard keeps my pillows from falling behind the bed. The built-in lighting is also a wonderful addition. It provides just enough light without being overly bright. While I'm not completely sold on the appearance, the convenience and functionality more than make up for it. Overall, I'm happy with it..
