The table is solid, heavy, well built, and easy to put together. The color of the top was darker than what I had hoped for but that is a struggle with buying online. The only issue with this table is the leg design if you want to seat 6. Because of the footprint that the table base has, you have to be very specific about where the chairs are placed. if you want to put chairs on the ends, those chairs will not fit well because of the necessary placement of the side chairs. Advertising is not accurate! This was originally listed as a 27”x 55 inch dining table. However my property noted on receipt the box says writing table and the lattice is brown and not white as advertised. It is a very overpriced writing desk. The wood itself is nice and the piece is solid bit f you expect to sit more than 2 people it won’t work. I was looking for something smaller but now not sure 27” is going to cut it as a table for 4 people. Sides are also fairly low so armchair dining chairs do not slide under it. I am very impressed with the quality of this dining table from Wayfair! The wood is beautifully finished, which gives it a really high-end feel. It includes two leaves, which makes it incredibly versatile. The leaves are easy to add or remove, so I can quickly extend the table when we have guests over. One thing to note is that the table is quite heavy. After assembly, it definitely requires two strong adults to turn it upright. Once set up, though, it’s extremely sturdy and well worth the effort.
