Solid wood product. This is in Caribbean Rum and is not as dark as I would have hoped for but still is a beautiful color. Great construction quality. The wood, after 3 months, seems to be absorbing some of the stain giving an ashy hue along the bottom. We use it as a kitchen island and had to order a custom made piece of tempered glass to protect the top. We chose glass so that we could see the beautiful wood below. It holds our large kitchen items, e.g. crockpot, toaster oven, blenders, toaster, air fryer… with room to spare. The two drawers glide smoothly and hold the cooking utensils easily. European Cherry, Wood

We like this cart but the granite top is not secured to the bottom half of the island. Also, the cabinet doors don't close properly so we've tried to adjust the hinges and one side is fine but we can't seem to get the other side to close without the doors rubbing each other. The island arrived in perfect condition. I uncrated it in the garage at let it stay there to air out for a few days because it smelled freshly painted. It is just what I was looking for. There is plenty of storage between the two drawers and the bottom cabinet. The butcher block top looks great against the European Gray cabinet. I did change the knobs to match the ones on my kitchen cabinet. The piece is very sturdy...and it is made in the USA! Overall, I am very happy with this cart. The materials are sturdy and well-painted, and all of the holes lined up properly when putting it together. It has deep drawers and offers a great amount of storage space, and the locking wheels are a nice touch. Some complaints: There was more assembly required than I expected. The cart arrived fully flat-packed with 0 pieces already put together, so building it was a significant process, even with construction experience. The doors are a bit off; they have a gap in the middle and sort of “crunch” on the sides when they open. The handles are also very low to the ground compared to the height of the cart. I do not suggest hanging mugs on the provided s-hooks. This cart is a good choice for the price point. If you aren’t looking to break the bank, but you also don’t want a flimsy piece of garbage, this is the one for you! It will serve its purpose as long as you are patient and good with a screwdriver..
