This boucle bed is very cute. It looks just like the pictures advertised. The bed feels sturdy and was EXTREMELY easyquick to put together— it maybe took me a little over an hour simply because of the amount of screws you have to install. The color of the boucle is a fabulous off white, and the feet are a complementary darker wood with gold caps. The boucle material is soft, doesn’t look or feel cheap, and is easy to clean with a quick vacuumlint rollspot clean. Logistics-wise, it came in one tall, skinny box that was heavier than I could carry by myself. It wasn’t impossible to shimmy it inside alone, but it’d definitely be safer moving with two people given the size. The ONLY negative about this piece is the height of the headboard. This Queen size bed headboard has three height sizes and storage! Assembly was about 4-5 hours, however another person was needed to add the hydraulic platform. Every part assembled was sturdy and seemed to be well made. I was expecting, maybe some sort of “board” to be at the bottom of the storage area instead of just a piece of material. However, it will definitely work as a dust guard. The framing fabric is soft and tightly woven (I didn’t see any loose thread). The hydraulic lift is controlled with a strap, and also has a locking strap to prevent uncontrolled pop-ups and the slats have attachment connectors to stay positioned. This wingback storage bed looks and feels nice. The tall upholstered headboard is great and I like the linen fabric on the bed. The chevon design on the headboard gives it a modern feel and creates a warm focal point on the bed. Additionally, the bed has a hydraulic storage system that provides plenty of hidden storage space under the bed. The lift is made of heavy metal but it is easy to lift thanks to the hydraulic mechanism. The only set back on this bed are the directions which were hard to followunderstand which is why it took a while to put the bed together. My only real complaint was the condition of the packaging when it arrived. The boxes looked pretty beat up and not particularly well handled during transit. Fortunately, all of the parts and hardware were accounted for and undamaged. Assembly of the king-size bed took my husband and me most of a day. The process itself isn’t overly complicated, but it’s a large piece of furniture, and the hydraulic storage components take some time to put together correctly. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. The bed looks great, feels sturdy, and the storage functionality works well. It took me all day to build this king set all by myself. There was one slight problem regarding the assembly at the beginning but I figured it out. Overall it turned out nicely and is a very soft material. It’s very durable and the hydraulic system is very hard to lift by myself but it does the trick.
