So I took this sofa out of the package just yesterday so not sure if there will be any more expansion or if it’s fully expanded. It’s very soft and comfortable. It’s all a big spongefoam so there is no need to put it together at all. Now there was a rip on one of the sides, so I am going to try to sew it and hope there is no other tearing. Very satisfied with this little sofa. Looks super sleek and stylish. Love the wooden accents at the base. Assembly took right around 30 minutes, but the armrests were exceptionally tricky and annoying to slot in. Took a good 10 minutes just to get them perfectly seated. I love the modularity such that I can add more seating or an ottoman if I so choose. Deducting 1 star because I didn’t realize the wooden facade at the base didn’t wrap all the way around the sofa so the back looks pretty bare. The feet also did not come with felt or rubber pads so there’s risk that they’ll scratch the floor. The facade at the base is also not very well aligned despite following the instructions. This sofa is a must buy! I was a little hesitant to buy it in the beginning because of the price. However, it is a steal! It is so comfy and very spacious! My husband who is 6’5” fits really well, which was something I was worried about before it delivered. It does take a bit of time for the sofa to settle since it vacuum sealed in the box.
