We spent a few weeks looking and comparing lift chairs before deciding on this chair. My husband was impressed that it has 4 motors and the ability to position not only the back and foot rest separately but also the ability to adjust the headrest and lumbar. The chair assembled easily in about a half hour and seems sturdy. The fabric is beautiful and soft. We did cover the chair with a chair pad to protect it from pet hair and stains. The chair seems to run smoothly with no loud noises. The massage is nice in the legs and seat. My husband thought there was a massage feature in the back of the chair, but there is nothing on the remote for the back. The heat is difficult to feel, but we do have the covers on the chair. Cant comment on it durability as time will tell. Will update at a later date. Overall, my husband is happy with his chair and would recommend it to anyone looking for a big mans chair.. Patty. Just got this today, and set it up for my sister-in-law at her assisted living studio. We wanted her to be able to elevate her legs in a recliner and to be able to sleep there as well because of her leg swelling and mobility issues. This is a real quality item. Heavy, sturdy, and full-featured, with customizable heat and massage, easy to access and operate wired controls (two sets, one for the chair’s back, legs, full recline, lift and one for heat and massage). Both are really easy to use. The materials in the chair are quality with faux leather that is attractive and comfortable. The chair’s support and cushioning are superb. Assembly was easier than I expected, but still took some time. I did the assembly all by myself, but had help with getting the boxes into her studio. They are heavy (which is a good thing when it comes to furniture like this). Assembly took about an hour with a very clear and substantial instruction booklet (large pages and print which is nice for my sister-in-law to have as a reference). There are two plug-ins, so keep that in mind. Everything tested out perfectly, and my sister-in-law was able to operate it right away. The lift feature will seriously get you out of the chair in an almost upright position! Really well-designed. There are a lot of lay-flat lift recliners on the market, and I feel doing the extra research helped me avoid some poor options. This one is a keeper! The instructions do not mention hidden wires and I had to reach out to customer support which was very helpful. A suggestion is to depict the hidden wires with photos and explanation in the instructions. The recline and lift functions are pretty slow - not sure if that is by design. The heat feature is nice, but doesn't really hit my lower back even when reclined all the way. The massage feature is ok - it's more like vibrations than massage, but still feels nice. Well I wanted something small. It is very narrow and still way too long. it came with its cushions shrink wrapped and took two days to inflate. Once inflated it was too hard for me. For a skinny person 54 and below with the need of a harder surface, this would be a total God sent. But it is too narrow for me. Also I liked having different controls for my back and legs, but unfortunately you cannot sit up straight in the chair nor does it lye flat. so if using the recliner for sleeping, side sleeping isnt comfortable.
