Nice table. Well made, solid wood. Arrived with a few dings and scratches, decided to live with them rather than going through the hassle of returning. BUT my biggest issue is the color. Much more red than I was expectingthe pictures. Espresso is not the right name for the finish. It is very much a cherry finish. Was hoping for a cooler tone based on the images to go with my chairs, but cest la vie. Lauren. Brooklyn, NY. Sun Oct 30 2022

Anchor the dining room in an effortless style with this essential table, perfect for weekday meals and family gatherings alike.

WARNING: This cross-bar may need to be adjusted for full operation (best before you put the rest of the table together). I had to disconnect the top from the base 3 times to get it right. Default from the factory and the table may not close unless one holds down the side-skirting on the leaf. That sucks. Too far one direction and the table closes, but the leaf will not pivot out. Too far the other direction and the leaf pivots freely, but the table will not close without holding down the side-skirting on the leaf in it's folded position. There's a "sweet spot" such that both operations will work seamlessly. I had to relocate mine about 1/4" inch. It's best if you have a cordless drill and a partner to help. It took 3 attempts to get it right, but once you spend the time to get it right, it's a really nice, small, quaint table that expands easily.. Randy. Boulder, CO. Mon Nov 26 2018

Gorgeous. The leaf automatically folds into and out of the table for storage or extension. Make sure you have at least 2 people to flip it after the legs are installed, as it is heavy and solid. Edit: The table dents very easily. You can dent it with just your fingernail. Its beauty was quickly marred.. Colin. Michigan. Wed Jun 10 2026

We love this table and the clever design for how to extend it or store the leaf. The fact that it can be three different sizes provides so much flexibility, and it feels sturdy and well made. Designed for flexibility, the Jean Extension Dining Table easily adapts to everyday meals or larger gatherings. With three length options—71, 86, and 102 inches—it expands to fit up to eight guests comfortably. The double butterfly leaf extensions tuck neatly beneath the tabletop when not in use, keeping your space tidy and functional. Finished in warm pecan, it adds a welcoming touch to any dining area.
