The sofa arrived in a box and also in a nice black bag. Unfortunately when my husband uncovered the couch by taking the black bag off there were multiple imperfections or stains in the leather. I contacted the customer service immediately and they have been amazing on offering options to fix my problem. A new one is on the way and I have my fingers crossed that it looks brand new.. Billi. Overall, we are disappointed with this couch! We actually ordered two of this couch I chose this brand, Bernhardt, because our last sectional was Bernhardt and it was made well and very high quality…good, strong frame and down filled cushions that kept their form and didn’t break down. This couch is a different story. I can’t speak to the frame yet as we’ve only had the couch about three months, but the cushions do sink in a good deal when you sit. The worst quality of this piece is it’s seat height, it’s sits VERY LOW. It is quite the workout to stand up from this couch, you feel as though you are doing seated squats getting up and down from this couch. I just ordered furniture risers to try to add some height to the couches to make them more comfortable to use! I do not recommend this couch unless you’re looking for a workout!. Sarah.
