After searching through hundreds of bed frame options and not finding anything else we liked, we decided to go with this for our new king sized bed. It was incredibly easy to put together and the instructions were better than I expected. The only issue was that the instructions referenced pieces being A, B, C, etc. but the pieces didn't have those labels, just the numbered stickers where pieces joined up. It was possible to work around that issue though! The box was heavy and the two of us could have fought it up the stairs, but we just opened the box downstairs and carried the pieces up, which was definitely the way to go. The bed frame is sturdy and doesn't make any noise. The velcro aspect of where the wooden slats sit on the metal is a great addition! We put a 14 inch mattress on it and the headboard is about the same height of the pillows (see image). We opted not to peel off the tape to use the adhesive on the mattress, it has been staying in place well without it, plus it would have made unrolling the new mattress tricky.
