I absolutely love this bed frame! It exceeded my expectations by a long shot, assembly took me ten minutes if that, the pieces are super sturdy and the joinery fit together perfectly. I usually don’t write reviews but I just had to for this bed frame I can’t recommend it enough! Plus it’s pretty!! Did I mention this frame is super sturdy and solid it doesn’t budge. I was worried about the slates being that they’re on the thinner side but they are holding up beautifully. Again highly recommend jumping on the Japanese joinery bed frame band wagon!. Hailee. US. Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. That being said, if you look carefully at the diagrams, you should be fine. Bed assembly is pretty straightforward. It does have a slight varnish smell that has started to fade after 3 days.. A.. Very disappointing, the bed I received does NOT have the same detail as the photos on the website. The vertical rungs on the head and footboard are smooth round pipe not the more sculpted detailed ones on the website. I might have picked another bed with more detail had I known. With that said Wayfair has excellent customer service and communication, my grievance was resolved in 48 hrs and I was offered a 25 discount. The bed is very solid with no noise at all.. Marianna. The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill. Some reviews mentioned that the walnut color had a slight reddish cast to it, which is true, but it worked well with my already existing furniture. Well worth the purchase!. Amanda. Millersville, PA. Our bed frame boasts robust construction with thickened steel members, reinforced connectors, and an anti-sway design, ensuring unparalleled stability. Once ordered, this bed frame with headboard arrived within a few days securely packaged all in one box!! I'm stressing one box because there was an incident with this delivery where the FedEx driver originally showed two snapshots on my account ...one was the correct box which was left at my door and the other box left at the door of a different apt in the same building! When I went outside to get the boxes, the one left at the wrong door wasn't there?!! I naturally assumed that someone must have taken it and immediately reported it to Fedex. I then called Wayfair and the lady I spoke to explained she was seeing both snapshots too! While waiting on Fedex response, I called Wayfair again to get an update! I got a different person who explained there should only have been one box and she only was seeing one snapshot!? She had me open the box to make sure everything was there. Of course everything was was right there all in one box! I then called Fedex back to explain all of this again and to let them know everything was okay! It was obviously a fluke with the Fedex driver but Fedex never admitted to or explained what really happened with the second snapshot. At any rate, I was happy to know that I had received everything in the one box. The bed frame with the headboard is really nice! It took awhile to assemble, but, I'm sure most anyone else, especially a man, could put it together in no time! It is made of a very heavy metal ...great quality and durable enough to last for many years! It is cost effective since it only requires a mattress ...no box springs required! I truly love this frame and would definitely recommend it!. Rosalind. Charleston, WV. Fri May 31 2024

18 Inch Bed Frame with Wood Headboard and Footboard, Heavy Duty Metal Platform, with Under Bed Storage, No Box Spring Needed, Easy Assembly, Black

Have had this bed set up for a few months now, and it’s a functional bed. Having said that, it squeaks every time teenager moves, & I mean every movement. Length is good for 6’2” teen.. Jennifer. WI. Fri Jan 02 2026

A bed that helps you stay organized? Yes. This Twin XL frame has a slide-out drawer at the end—perfect for extra linens or off-season clothes. The storage headboard keeps your phone and glasses close, with built-in outlets and USB ports so you wake up fully charged. No box spring needed; the sturdy metal frame and slats support up to 800 pounds quietly and reliably. Assembly is a breeze thanks to snap-fit slats and clear instructions—you’ll be done in about 30 minutes. Plus, everything ships in one box. No waiting. No hassle. Just a cleaner, smarter bedroom.

PACKAGING great- everything arrived with no damage. Nice looking bed overall and for the price it is a good deal. HARDWAREASSEMBLY came with all the necessary tools which was a nice surprise. It was fairly easy to assemble. We did end up with one screw that had too much powder coatingpaint so it wouldn’t allow you to screw the sides of the headboard in. They did not provide an extra screw to be able to swap out. Took a little effort but we were able to make it work. They provide you with 2 corner protectors but the adhesive sticks better to the red peel-off cover than to the part itself or the bed. MATTRESS we have a 13” thick mattress. If you have a mattress 11” or less it will slide right under the headboard. STABILITY a little iffy. Probably okay for a child but a teen or adult seems like they need to carefully sit down. DRAWER my biggest complaint by far. They missed the mark with this and actually it takes away from the purchase overall. It is not at. Jessica. IA. Mon Jun 22 2026
