Update your bedroom with this platform bed frame and all its traditional charm – plus, some modern practicality. It's crafted from steel in a classic silhouette and comes with wooden slats that eliminate the need for a box spring. The design features an elegant slatted headboard showcasing vintage-inspired turns details and a softly arching top, paired with a matching footboard to complete the look. What's more, the 10" under-bed clearance means there's also plenty of room for a couple storage bins.

I did a lot of research regarding the weight capacity of metal beds. We have a king size black beauty rest mattress that works best with box springs so the total mattress weight has to be around 200lbs. My husband and I combined are just under 400 lbs. so I wanted a minimum of 700 lbs to more than cover. Also my husband is 6’2” and I was concerned about his feet getting caught in the footboard. We tested it without the box springs because the bed doesn’t require those. He didn’t have any issues but we ended up adding the box springs anyway. Now the bed with the springs goes higher than the footboard. The mattress height alone is 14 inches and box springs add about 4 inches. The bed frame is heavy at just under 103 pounds so that was important. I didn’t want a lightweight frame. The decor on the head and footboard is beautiful, gives an antique vibe like the bed my grandmother had but no squeaking. We have slept on this for just under a week and there is no sound. We were able to put this together is about twenty minutes. The instructions are clear with numbers for connecting pieces that slid into place easily. We did use the rubber mallet included to secure each piece. Love the bed, very happy with the sturdiness and look.. Linda. Kansas City, MO. Fri Sep 11 2026

Bring cottage-inspired charm to the bedroom with the metal spindle bed, designed for a primary bedroom or guest room that needs character without feeling too heavy. Style it with layered bedding, wood nightstands, or vintage-inspired décor to create a sleep space that feels cozy, polished, and thoughtfully finished.

Good quality material easy to set up and looks great in the room. Cindy. Wed Oct 07 2026

This spindle bed has a distinctively vintage design, right at home in any main bedroom or guest room. It's thoughtfully crafted from solid wood, and comes in a variety of hues to fit your room's style and color scheme. Our favorite part is the combination of a spindle-style headboard and footboard, which are connected by a simple slat system. They both strike rectangular silhouettes with rounded edges for a welcoming feel overall.

Very solid frame. The biggest issue we had was not being aware that this bed needed a box frame. I assumed it came with slats to support the mattress, but was told that was not the case after contacting customer service about the issue. After having the frame for a month or so we have noticed a couple spots where the wood is splitting, but it's nothing that is deteriorating the sturdiness of the product. It is purely cosmetic, and nothing I am overly concerned about.. Alexandria. Reno, NV. Thu Jul 23 2026

It’s indulgent and luxurious and you deserve it: the Bowdoin Canopy Bed. An acrylic and iron frame accents the bedroom in celebrity-chic glamour while a velvet headboard offers must-touch texture and comfort.

I recently purchased the Bowdoin Upholstered Low Profile Canopy Bed from WayFair. This chromed frame canopy bed exudes elegance and durability. The metal base and leg stands ensure its sturdiness and resistance to damage. It perfectly complements the aesthetics of my bedroom. Extremely satisfied with this purchase!. Kamal. US. It's crafted with a solid and engineered wood frame, and it rests on metal legs for a modern look in your space. The low-profile frame features a built-in headboard with a finished back, giving you flexible placement options throughout your home. A series of slats provides support for your mattress, so there's no need for a box spring. Plus, the negative space under the bed offers room for keeping essentials tucked away.

Nice design and arrived with nice packaging. The screws that hold together the headboard to the frame are too short.. Pam. Salem, OR. Thu Jul 30 2026
