Positively IN LOVE with these sofas! Firm enough for me, soft enough for my husband. I’ve sat on countless sofas at furniture stores and immediately popped up with a “Nope!” So naturally I was nervous at 2k a pop, no cancels or returns and a front door that wasn’t quite 36” wide as needed per the delivery specs. They had the look I wanted which no local store seemed to carry, totally washable which is a must with large dogs so I took a chance- and oh am I glad I did. They took a few weeks to arrive but came earlier than expected. Delivery was easy- the guys were fantastic. I haven’t tried the sleepers- they’ll serve their need eventually. Regarding the sofa: there is a distinct gap in between the upper cushions and bottom part of the sofa when in its upright position. Likewise I'm not sure the sleeping portion that pulls out/up is perfectly installed, as it's a little tricky to slide/push/pull it into place, in both positions (it sticks/jams -- I have video of the gentleman who assembled the piece having a bit of trouble). I paid for set-up, so I'm not sure what to attribute the problem to, although there is leftover hardware, which seems odd. It is comfortable, and looks decent, but I'd definitely pay more for reversible pillows/cushions, both for convenience (spills/stains that can't be immediately laundered) and a longer life span (sagging). Re: shipping: when ordering BE SURE to check all appropriate boxes specifying where exactly you want the item delivered, as FedEx left the TWO VERY HEAVY boxes ON THE STREET in front of my apartment building (not in the locked vestibule), even though I was home, buzzed the delivery man in, and asked him to help me get the boxes to the landing of my apartment, which he refused to do; I'm very dissatisfied with FedEx (and their customer service after the fact as well).. The sofa came well packaged and was quite easy to move and assemble on my own. The white slipcover is more ivory than white based upon lighting, but not at all an issue. The back cushions are quite soft while the seating cushions are quite firm. I hold optimism that within some time the seating cushions will become softer and more comfortable. UPDATE the center leg kept bending sideways and the couch would fall down! Today the leg completely broke off. It’s just me in the home with the dog and we are gentle. Very disappointed!! Need new couch. Delivery day I wanted to love this couch, and there are things I really do like about it—but unfortunately, the negatives were hard to overlook. First off, the screws around the frame were difficult to get in because the foam was too thick and the screws wouldn’t catch the threads properly. It took much longer than it should have, and I had to redo sections multiple times. To make matters worse, the included Allen key stripped after just a couple of screws and didn’t fit the bolts properly. If you’re putting it together, definitely use your own tools. One of the most frustrating parts was the seat slats. You can’t get them in unless you loosen up the frame again after you’ve already secured it—which feels like going backwards and risks everything slipping out of place. Now that it’s assembled, I’ve been trying to enjoy it. The beige color is absolutely gorgeous—a warm, slightly speckled tone that fits beautifully with my decor. That’s definitely a highlight. Another major plus the entire couch is washable, which is rare and incredibly practical. That feature is probably the biggest trade-off for the comfort issues. Speaking of comfort—the seat cushions are very firm and slope down toward the center, so if you’re not sitting dead center, it can feel awkward. I’m hoping they loosen up over time, but for now, they’re not great for lounging. The back cushions are soft but under-filled, and the back itself is quite low—not nearly as supportive as it looks in the pictures. I’m planning to add throw pillows (maybe even a fluffy seat topper) to make it more livable. Overall, it’s a beautiful-looking couch with some thoughtful features like the washable covers, but the comfort and assembly left a lot to be desired. It’s crazy how hard it was to find a loveseat around this size with black vegan leather and wide armrests to place things on.
