The chairs are beautiful and well made. The packaging box looks roughly handled. But the chairs are not damaged. They are obviously pretty strong. The bottoms of the chair legs have pads to protect the floor. The floor protectors are a little misaligned but they do not show when the chair is upright. Only negative I would say is that the back, which is not padded, is low and not very comfortable if you are sitting a little slumped. But it is fine if sitting up straight. They are well worth the sale price. But they are not so wonderful that they warrant the original price. These chairs are gorgeous and definitely high quality. I got these because the blue can look either gray-ish blue or denim blue. I like the lighter-colored wood as well. They came very well wrapped and protected for the shipping. They were easy to put together although the screw tool didn't work as well as another one I had from another piece of furniture. Be sure to look at the seat frame before screwing in the legs and to the back--I didn't pay any attention and had to redo one chair because it was upside down. They only way to tell is to look at the holes for the screws that hold the seat cushion to the seat frame. But they are super comfortable and give excellent back support! Oh, one flaw: they didn't "finish" the bottom of the legs. There is no varnish or finishing. That seemed like a cheap way to make them.
