This set is smaller than any of my previous sets. I would say it is apartment size. It is also very hard feeling when sitting on it. Hopefully this is an indication that it will last a while. I purchased the black set, and I love everything about it. Its very easy to assemble when putting on the front piece, you have to use a drill to tighten the screws to make it sturdy.
