The bookshelf is really nice, my only complaint is that the back panels dont fit together well. It comes with a plastic strip that goes in between, but the color is way off and it doesn't look good at all. I took the strip out and redid the back lining the two panels up and ignoring the predrilled holes. You will definitely want a power drill when you put this together.. Matthew. Grabill, IN. I’ve been looking for storage options for a while, mostly for books but having the option for other things as well, and a dresser was too bulky while a book case was too narrow and tall. This is perfect. It’s well made and looks great. The back is pressed board with a wood laminate and there is definitely an order to install the back panels. There are no pre-drilled holes for the back panels, and while I did it through sheer willpower and determination, a power screwdriver would be helpful. The rest of it is assembled with pre-drilled holes and an Allen wrench, which is exhausting in its own right. One day I will actually hang my mirror.. Kaitlin. Clemson, SC. Wed Nov 30 2022

This is a fantastic book shelf. Solid, heavy wood construction and a beautiful finish. A few spots have mars in the finish, but they disappear when looking at the shelf from across the room. There were a few scratches that a furniture stick needed to be applied to, but I’m not sure if they happened during manufacture or our construction. The assembly was simple with the instructions provided. The only error in the instructions was regarding the type of screw driver to use. The wall anchor that came with the shelf was very flimsy, so we installed a sturdier more trusting anchor. The shelving unit did have a odor for a week after assembly. I didn’t like the color of the screw caps that were supplied so I have not used them; additionally they didn’t fit firmly in place. The bottom drawers slide in and out smoothly. The ClosetMaid 13” storage bins I bought to use with the shelf were too wide for each opening. When I trimmed a quarter inch of the insert in the bottom of the bin, I could get the bin to snugly fit in the shelf openings. I won’t be accessing what I stored in the bins often, so I’m happy with the ClosetMaid storage bins. I am well pleased with the storage capacity and look of this shelving unit. It looks modern, is designed well, and most important is made from real wood. I do not expect the finish to last unscathed for too long, since the lower shelf is storing my toddler grandson’s toys, we’ll see!. Christinemh. Huntsville, AL. Sat Feb 09 2019

Nice piece that looks beautiful in my space.
