It took me three and a half hour to build, granted I was building it alone as a solo female. There was a period where the screws would not screw in to assemble both parts together, it was so frustrating and because of that I was stuck in the same step for over an hour. It must’ve been the manufacturers problem since I was reading the instructions correctly and the screws just won’t go in. This bed frame is absolutely gorgeous! We purchased the queen size in light gray, and the tall, substantial headboard is definitely the star of the room. It makes the entire bed feel much more expensive and elegant. The fabric is even prettier in person. It has a thick, textured knit with subtle hints of cream, blue, and gray woven throughout, which works beautifully with the colors in our room. I also love the proportions of the footboard. It’s substantial enough to give the bed a finished look, but low enough that you’re not constantly catching your hip on it when walking around the bed. Ordered the light oak color and it was true to the photos. Very basic bed but seems sturdy for the price paid. It's not going to be a family heirloom by any means, but it is perfect for my needs in the guest room. Delivery was on time and it was easy enough to put together with an extra set of hands. I ended up cancelling the home assembly. Note: You will need something to cover your box-spring, or bedding that can be tucked down past it, because it will show through the space in the footboard, which is pretty unsightly.. Anonymous.
