This set has potential but a couple of things that made us return it. The frame is metal pipes , so very little to no wood , but that’s not a huge issue. The metal is well wrapped in foam. The problem are 1. The asssembly is extensive , a lot of nuts bolts to deal with . 2. The cushions are velvet but are shipped shoved into various nooks n crannies and are extremely compressed crushing and creasing the velvet that doesn’t recover 3. This is a nice looking sofa at a good price! I like the shape and the fabric. A few things to note: 1) I ordered "brown" but it really reads "gray"; however, the color is pretty neutral so it goes with anything; add some pillows and it looks great; 2) the back is FIRM so you really sit upright on it; this isn't something you sink into; 3) it's really comfortable to lay down on, which is what I wanted.
