I took a huge risk ordering this as my mattress is a staggering 22 inches thick but I could not be more pleased. Took about 15 minutes with another person’s help to assemble and I am so happy with it. I love this bed! I was thrilled to find the look and size of canopy bed in my price range that I was seeking after many failed Facebook marketplace attempts (and ghosts). It was pretty easy to put together though I do not recommend putting it together solo like I did- more of a two person job (just requires the included Allen wrench which was super convenient). It’s not necessarily top quality or super sturdy which makes sense considering the price, but it is fully functional and aesthetically pleasing. Probably not best for a super largeheavy person or multiple people (I’m only about 120 lbs). I feel like the middle support legs shift when I get on it because the crossbar slats are round and roll. This may be partially because I have a large air mattress and the slats roll against its relatively slick surface - it may not do this with a more typical fabric mattress. I put some large pieces of particle board (from the packaging of another Wayfair purchase) under the mattress to serve as sort of a bunky board that minimized this. Overall, I’m satisfied customer.. I really enjoy the simple look of this bed; however it took me 2 returns to get the appropriate parts. Silly me, the boxes come as King 2, and Queen 1.
