It was so easy for him lol Make sure you prepare the slip covers before you take the plastic off the pillows, because they deflate very rapidly. That is a mistake I made, I was so anxious to see what it would look like put together. It is a beautiful couch and it has held up from the tiny hands and feet of my great grandkids. If you want a beautiful, strong sofa, you can’t go wrong by purchasing this one. The only regret I have is that I purchased the cream and not the white. I got the curry velvet color. It looks quite different than the color in the picture but I was expecting that from other photos. More deep orangey red brown than tan. But I actually think it's so beautiful! Took me and my boyfriend about 45 minutes to set it up, it was fairly easy. The bottom cushion is firm and the back cushions are nice and soft. I got it for my therapist office and I think that is a perfect combination for clients sitting on it regularly.
