And we definitely haven’t been gentle with it - many kids have had plenty of fun jumping on this bed over the years, and it has held up beautifully! It does sit lower to the ground if you’re used to a higher-profile bed. I have a fairly thick mattress and don’t mind the lower profile at all, especially since I had younger kids when I purchased it. The Queen Size Sleigh bed is extremely solid! It was really easy to put together. The color of the wood fits in perfectly with my existing furniture! It came packaged very well with no damage during delivery. If there is any downside, I would say the Queen size frame fits the box spring snug with no room to spare. Very well made bed. I love love it. Got a bit scared that all the screws weren’t there but they were in different boxes. The slats are on the flimsy side but once you add the support blocks it helps a lot. I didn’t screw the slats to the bed, so I’ll see how that works. Over all I’m very pleased.
