Item is exactly as described. My husband was able to assemble it himself without any complaints. I also went with a thicker mattress 16 inches. The hydraulics still work without any issue. I do wish it was taller. That would be way better storage and it would look more expensive. I’d say the top of the back frame reaches my chest level and I am 53. The color is not as all of as the photo maybe a little bit more emerald but if you brush it in different directions, it can go either way. Also, when I lift the mattress, it takes a good amount of strength, so I don’t have to worry about little ones lifting and smashing their fingers. You absolutely must put in the effort to lift.. But unless you lay bins under the bed your blankets, clothes, or other seasonal items will be laying on the floor. I think some type of bins would be good to lay under there to keep your items clean. The wooden slats that you lay your mattress on are sturdy and stable. You don’t hear any squeaking or creaking. That’s because there is a reinforced metal tube support on the slats. I love the soft velvet tufted headboard. It is soft to lean against and looks so modern and stylish. The bed’s dimensions are 47” H x 66” W x 85” L. The headboard is 47” high and 66” wide. Mine is a queen size and is beige in color. No box spring is needed and there are center support legs also. The weight capacity is 600 lbs. It has a warranty but only for 90 days. They came packed really well, the first took me about 90 minutes to put together and the second was only maybe half an hour. They came well packed and the instructions were easy to follow. Note that the drawers are just wire baskets on rollers but I think for the price it's a great deal. I can't speak to longevity since I just set them up but overall I am very happy with them..
