I love this bed! I was thrilled to find the look and size of canopy bed in my price range that I was seeking after many failed Facebook marketplace attempts (and ghosts). It was pretty easy to put together though I do not recommend putting it together solo like I did- more of a two person job (just requires the included Allen wrench which was super convenient). It’s not necessarily top quality or super sturdy which makes sense considering the price, but it is fully functional and aesthetically pleasing. Probably not best for a super largeheavy person or multiple people (I’m only about 120 lbs). I feel like the middle support legs shift when I get on it because the crossbar slats are round and roll. This may be partially because I have a large air mattress and the slats roll against its relatively slick surface - it may not do this with a more typical fabric mattress. I put some large pieces of particle board (from the packaging of another Wayfair purchase) under the mattress to serve as sort of a bunky board that minimized this. Overall, I’m satisfied customer.. The delicately designed metal frame has a vintage style that will add instant sophistication to your bedroom. The four canopy posts meet in the middle to create a piece that will make a beautiful statement and complement the rest of your room décor. The Camilla’s all-metal frame includes side rails, additional center legs, and secured slats to provide stability and durability. The secured metal slats also remove the need to purchase any additional box springs or foundations as they offer mattress support and breathability for long-lasting comfort. What’s more, the mattress base is adjustable to allow you to convert it between a 6.5” and 11” clearance depending on your under-bed storage needs. This means you will now have a place to store your seasonal clothing you can’t seem to find the space for.
