I have been looking on marketplace for a used Murphy breed for over a year now and then I came across this one and it was comparable in price to the used ones I had been looking at. I hesitated getting a used one because I would need to borrow w truck and then get help moving it, its used, may not be in the best condition, etc. But this one was delivered directly to my house, I did need help moving it inside but the separate boxes made it manageable and my 8 year old loves it! She thinks its the coolest thing to be able to close her bed up although I dont think we are going to do it often as a single mom in a budget I was looking to buy something that can work for a guest bedroomplayroom down the road. The boxes were heavy but everything was packaged well. I didnt have any trouble putting it together but did lay everything out and laid close attention to the directions so I didnt have to do it twice. I think this path of buying online was a better cover for my situation and worth the great price i feel good about my investmentss and my daughter thinks she has the coolest room EVER!. Laura. Here is what may be helpful to know about this Murphy bed * we ordered the gray color. It is a handsome, farmhouse style of finish in a medium warm, gray tone. * the shipping boxes were very heavy. It arrived in two separate boxes, each box weighing close to 100 pounds. * assembly… Make sure you have two people for this. It took two men close to four hours to assemble, with a few hiccups along the way. Overall, happy with the results despite the long assembly process. Having a favorite beverage on hand helps. ) * this unit comes with a built-in charging station. Very convenient. * once the bed portion is extended, you have the option of pulling up some boards to make a headboard behind where pillows would go. * this bed did not come with a mattress. We had a queen sized bean bag mattress, which fit fits in perfectly, and we can store it in the Murphy bed as well. * the cabinet for this bed is very attractive. It makes a great sideboard table as well as an adjustable bed! * there are storage compartments in the unit which can be accessed whether or not the bed is pulled open. BOTTOM LINE this Murphy bed is a real space saver! At this price point, it is a very good find. I highly recommend it. But I would advise that you have at least two people to lift the boxes and to assemble.. Patricia. Montoursville, PA. Tue Jun 30 2026

This is the perfect cabinet for the space we have. The assembly is a little cumbersome. The drawer is not as big or sturdy as expected. You can store some bedding materials in the drawers, but nothing too heavy. Overall, for the cost it is a good value.. Anonymous. Mon May 11 2026

This versatile murphy cabinet bed seamlessly transforms from a slim storage cabinet to a full bed in seconds, ideal for small apartments, guest rooms or home offices. Crafted from durable engineered wood with scratch-resistant finish, it maximizes limited floor space effortlessly. Equipped with built-in charging station, smooth silent slide rails, lockable wheels and reinforced safety hardware including anti-tip device, it ensures stable, quiet and secure use. Spacious drawers offer ample storage for pillows, linens and daily essentials. When not in use, it neatly folds into a stylish 4-door cabinet, blending naturally into your room decor. Simple two-person assembly with clear instructions. Turn any spare area into multi-functional space for overnight guests, working or relaxing.

We love the Latitude Run products. Solid wood feel on the tops and doors and sold construction that feels like it'll last. The assembly takes some time and space as you'll assemble multiple pieces at once and them assemble those pieces together. The bed feels solid once constructed and is easy to pull out by one person. The way the doors fold over make it a nice headboard area where you can set up some tables or shelves alongside it to act as nightstands when used. The receptacle and usbs are in a handy spot for phone charging etc. The unit was a little bigger than we anticipated, a little more bulky that expected but not unreasonable considering it holds a trifold mattress in a cabinet and doesn't go flat to the wall. It does not include a mattress so add in about 200 or so for a decent trifold mattress and the price is still a solid find for a Murphy bed cabinet. The queen mattress hangs over slightly at the end of the platform, like an inch or so, not a big deal but the platform should ideally fully support the entire mattress, it would have been a bigger deal if it were at the head of the bed.. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing purchase. Assembly was far more difficult than advertised, with unclear instructions and parts that did not fit together properly. The overall build quality felt cheap and poorly engineered for the price. Even after assembly, the product remained unstable and noticeably shaky, which raised safety concerns, especially for households with children. To make matters worse, one of the components arrived defective right out of the box. While I appreciate that Wayfair provided a full refund and handled the issue professionally, the product itself was not worth the time, effort, or frustration. I would not recommend it and would suggest looking for a sturdier, better-built alternative.. Shiv. Stanford, CA. Sun May 24 2026

Love the design and esthetics of this bed. Super sturdy, solid wood. Folds easily (although it takes two of us) and was fairly easy to put together. It took us about 4 hours total. Had a problem with some damage to outside door panels which was quickly resolved without issue by Wayfair. Highly recommend.. Karin. MI. Sun Jun 14 2026

This Murphy bed features metal folding rods, making its retraction and extension effortless and flexible. When you need to use the bed, just pull it gently and the bed body will unfold smoothly, providing a spacious sleeping space. When not in use, it can be easily folded up to fit the wall, saving precious space. The surface decoration of the cabinet adopts a vertical stripe design, which not only enhances the visual beauty but also adds a modern touch to the furniture. In addition, the use of metal handles also adds a touch of refinement and sturdiness to the entire cabinet. To ensure safety, the safety chain equipped on the side can effectively prevent accidental opening when folding up, providing you with a more reassuring usage experience. This Murphy bed is designed with the needs of multiple scenarios in mind. Inside the cabinet, there is not only a comfortable bed but also a desk function that is ingeniously integrated. The drawers on both sides of the desktop are equipped with sliding rails, providing ample storage space and are very suitable for students or people working from home. The middle desktop can be easily opened, and the built-in makeup mirror makes it more convenient for you to prepare in the morning. The Murphy bed uses plywood slats and MDF structure, ensuring the stability and durability of the product. This multi-functional design makes it suitable for various living scenarios. Whether used as a guest room, study or dressing room, it can handle them all with ease. Not only does it meet the basic sleep needs, but it also fully considers the utilization of space and aesthetics, truly achieving a perfect combination of fashion and practicality. Whether it's a small-sized apartment or a multi-functional room, this Murphy bed will be your best choice.

Once assembled this Murphy bed is a fantastic edition. The desk is huge and the drawers are perfect for light storage. Suggest hiring a handyman to assemble as it takes about a day to complete.. Tanya. Naperville, IL. Wed Jan 28 2026
