Very easy to put together, and the texture is nice. Doesn't feel like a plain barstool and holds a 249lb man well and sturdy. So far the cushion has been comfy and firm. Nice counter stool. Unfortunately the color of stool I received is darker than presented in the picture. I searched several different styles in cream or light colors which I like a lot more but I do love the shape of this stool. I wouldn't choose this dark grey if I could tell from the picture.
