I bought one of these recliners about 3 years ago and loved it so much that I just bought another recently—like last week. I noticed that it was made even better than my first one. The foot lift is smother and pushing the foot rest down is also smother and easier. The seat itself is firmer and fuller and they have changed the design in such a way that you don’t need a “specialist” to come to your home to put it together. For $700 I expect more. First, the material is NOT microfiber/microsuede. It is basically pleather. Thin and not tough like microfiber would be. The description should be changed and the price lowered for this reason alone. (I added a close up photo of the material) The ergonomics of the chair are also disappointing. The cushioning is too hard. The arm rests are too low relative to the seat so I can’t rest my arms on them. The seat height relative to the floor is too high so my feet do not rest on the floor and the edge of the seat presses against the backside of my legs. I’m 5’7”. I’m so surprised at how much I love these chairs. I didn’t expect them to be so incredibly comfortable! I bought two and they add a beautiful pop of yellow to our family room. My husband was doubtful but he can’t stay off of them now. -) The electrical mechanism works well so far. You must lower the reclining mechanism to get out of them or the entire chair moves forward with you (so not super stable if used in that way), but just don’t rush and take the time to lower it to get out and you’ll be fine..
