We got the Mocha finish. Slightly lighted in person than pictured, but solid quality. No veneers or particle board here! Easy to put together. Took 2 people 30 mins with a few power tools. This collection was created to address a trending style in today’s market while adding some transitional feel by bowing the inset drawers. The use of the slats in the center of the drawer and hardware to match the slats creates a uniform design element. Slat look is carried through to the accents on the mirror as well as the beds. The panel bed uses the middle slat look of the cases to have a “suited” option. Cases and beds are on metal legs to modernize the collection. This collection features Sherwin Williams finish on poplar solids and veneers to emphasize the “glued up” look and accentuate the grain characteristics.

Wow! This bed is SOLID. It definitely takes 2 people to assemble. We even had my 8 year old help hold one of the side pieces at one point, although a stack of books would have worked. But I love how sturdy this frame is. I think it's a great value and will last for many years to come. Instructions/assembly were pretty simple/straightforward so I'm not sure why another reviewer said it was hard. We assembled in about 90 min and that included careful unpackaging and moving all of the boxes into our truck for disposal. The center supports don't reach the ground. The holes also didn't align well with the steel support. We are going to prop up with some rubber stoppers. That's def a little annoying but not worth docking an entire star.
