These chairs are wonderful! Having two small kids makes it a must to have easy to clean seating and these are exactly that. Having an adjustable height is great too. - I like the adjustable feature and that the back of the chair stays under the counter and prevents chips from banging on the counter. - The supporting column was as sturdy as I had hoped it would be. - A nice future feature is that the seats are separate and look like would be easy to reupholster in the future with real leather if the current fabric wears out. - I also like that it will be easier to dust around the bottom too instead of 4 legs catching my dog's fur! - I bought the brown one thinking that would be best but ended up switching to black because it looked better in my kitchen. The cross stitching is not a true white which was less stark in contrast and worked well for me. - The foot rest height is good for me ( average height woman) and when the seats are all the way 6 foot people can put their feet on the ground, which they like.
