Beautiful bed! We ordered the queen size Ivory Canvas material and couldn't be happier. We vacillated a lot of what fabric to choose (canvas vs. boucle, ivory vs. cream). The boucle seemed too "fuzzy" and we didn't want a canvas material that felt "waxy" or like a canvas sneaker. The material on THIS bed is wonderful! This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I used a soft upholstry fabric and also laid batting on the broad surfaces. The mechanism works great and does not shut unless you pull it down.
