This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. Beautiful bed! We ordered the queen size Ivory Canvas material and couldn't be happier. We vacillated a lot of what fabric to choose (canvas vs. boucle, ivory vs. cream). Really nice looking and well-made wrought iron bed. I found this as less expensive option to several of the spindle beds out there. I purchased it to match a dresser and bedside tables from another retailer. Although I am still waiting for the nightstands and dresser, I can tell them that will look gorgeous when they arrive and match the wrought iron hardware quite well. Came in one box, package was intact and the items were well secured inside the box. I love the bed, I have no complaints the quality is really nice. I was able to carry and assemble this without assistance so if you wanted to assemble on your own it is possible. This bed did not need a box spring, but I did add one for extra height. The pictures with the white bedding is how it looks without a box spring and the one with stripes is how the bed looks with a box spring. This is a really nice Bed. I waited to do a review. To give it a bit of time to make sure the bed sturdy. Which surprisingly it is. You can add box spring which as you can see I did.
