Made of solid pine wood from renewable resources.

After years of deciding what would fit and look right in my kitchen, I finally found this. Order furniture online is always scary because I can't put my hands on it, so I was delighted when this arrived. It's solid wood, very sturdy, and gorgeous. Exactly the farmhouse work table look I was going for. As other reviews have said, the top is two pieces; for me, this is not a con because most antique tables are made that way. Yes, there are knots in the wood on top; it's not a smooth butcher block. Depending on how you'll be using it, that shouldn't be an issue. However, if I decide I want that, I can always take the top off and replace with a solid slab of butcher block and still be at a price lower than it would've taken me to buy everything and built this. All in all a good purchase, highly recommend.. Jlee. Thu Oct 08 2026

Love the sage color ( it will go with just about any decor) and the style of this piece. The directions for the cabinet were clear, no words, just clearly labeled pictures. All but one set of screws were also clearly labeled. It would be helpful when building the piece to have a second person available to hold the doors in place to put in very small screws. The hardware is solid and the piece looks great . However the cabinet and doors are made of very light wood that may not take heavy wear and tear. The biggest disappointment is the "real wood" top which is cheap MDF with a thin layer of real wood adhered on each surface . That was not a good place to skimp on material and we may find our own piece of wood to replace it. It also has wheels and a power outlet that will be very useful. It looks very attractive and will work well in the small kitchen in the downstairs area in our home. For the price this is structurally sound, not difficult to build and gives a nice cottage vibe . Thanks Wayfair .... this definitely works for us!. Susanne. Newington, CT. Sat Oct 24 2026
