I put one together and the dimensions are so off on the description. It says the overall depth is 12 inches. It's more like 15 inches. I will have to send it back because they don't fit all the way under my island without sticking out and being in the way. The seat part is NOT wood. Its hard plastic with a wood look and it's not the pretty natural color as shown in the picture. It's like a grayish green color. There's a nick in the seat of the one I put together. The seat will also be lopsided if it is raised too far up. So disappointed.. Kimberly. Powder Springs, GA. Wed Mar 21 2018

With an adjustable height and a 180-degree swivel, this bar stool checks all the boxes. It sits on a black metal frame with a footrest for added comfort. Nice, comfortable chair. Looks great where we have it and we will be ordering more. Given only 4 stars because the assembly was not that easy. Hubby had to drill new pilot holes on the base of the chair as the screws for the base did not line up. But he is handy and got it to work. I am rather short (5'4") and the footrest does not fit me right. But a nice footstool between the chair and the back of the island cabinets works great! . Debbie. Ames, IA. Thu Aug 13 2020

Great quality, sturdy and I love that its real wood top and not just laminated wood that peels off (as read in other product's reviews). One thing to consider, it is not really adjustable stool - it doesnt go up/own on a lever push. What it means is the foot-rest is on 2 sides, one side being lower (for taller people) and one side higher (for shorter people). I knew that and so I was prepared. Overall 5 stars!
