This is great. Seems structurally stable. Easy to put together. Two complaints. The silver metal bolts are visible on the outside of the posts, so I’m spray painting those to match the frame. The bigger complaint is that the mattress slides. The bottom rails are smooth and flush. there’s no recessed area for the mattress to sit in to keep it in place. This bed is built so beautifully! It’s definitely not a bed you’re building from scratch. Essentially it’s attaching the sideboards to the head and footboard along with screwing the wooden slats onto the center supporting platform and the sideboards. I wish there were screws on both sides of every wooden slat (some are only screwed into the middle platform) but aside from that this is a very sturdy bed for a reasonable price.
