Birch Lane™ Beds

Midcentury style with multiple different fabrics to provide the clients with multiple different choices. Easy to assemble when following our assembly instruction

Very beautiful and well made bed. Assembly was straight forward, not that many steps, just look at and obey each and every step. We had to backtrack on a couple places, so just read and re-read the instructions. But very easy straightforward assembly. Color is very complementary and the base is solid and well built. I love it.. Rachael. Roseville, CA. Fri Jun 12 2026

Update your bedroom with this platform bed frame and all its traditional charm – plus, some modern practicality. It's crafted from steel in a classic silhouette and comes with wooden slats that eliminate the need for a box spring. The design features an elegant slatted headboard showcasing vintage-inspired turns details and a softly arching top, paired with a matching footboard to complete the look. What's more, the 10" under-bed clearance means there's also plenty of room for a couple storage bins.

I did a lot of research regarding the weight capacity of metal beds. We have a king size black beauty rest mattress that works best with box springs so the total mattress weight has to be around 200lbs. My husband and I combined are just under 400 lbs. so I wanted a minimum of 700 lbs to more than cover. Also my husband is 6’2” and I was concerned about his feet getting caught in the footboard. We tested it without the box springs because the bed doesn’t require those. He didn’t have any issues but we ended up adding the box springs anyway. Now the bed with the springs goes higher than the footboard. The mattress height alone is 14 inches and box springs add about 4 inches. The bed frame is heavy at just under 103 pounds so that was important. I didn’t want a lightweight frame. The decor on the head and footboard is beautiful, gives an antique vibe like the bed my grandmother had but no squeaking. We have slept on this for just under a week and there is no sound. We were able to put this together is about twenty minutes. The instructions are clear with numbers for connecting pieces that slid into place easily. We did use the rubber mallet included to secure each piece. Love the bed, very happy with the sturdiness and look.. Linda. Kansas City, MO. Fri Sep 11 2026

Beautiful bed! The wood is a bit lighter than pictured. It is a definitely a statement piece. I used a 5 in ch box frame with worked perfectly with my 13.5” mattress.. Jeanette. Farmington Hills, MI. Thu Jun 04 2026

This wingback platform bed features an upholstered frame wrapped in polyester to bring cozy texture and a tailored look to your space. The clean-lined silhouette incorporates a padded headboard and a matching footboard, creating a relaxed spot to lean back while reading or watching TV. It's crafted with a solid and engineered wood frame, anchored by center support legs for added stability. Included solid wood slats support your mattress without needing a box spring. Plus, this bed is designed to be compatible with an adjustable bed base.

This is a beautiful bed, and I absolutely love the shape and style. Unfortunately, there are two significant issues. First, the color is very misleading. I ordered Oatmeal expecting a warm beige or neutral fabric based on the listing photos. In person, it reads VERY gray—much more gray than beige or even greige. I’ve tried it in different lighting and with different bedding, and the gray undertone is still very noticeable. This is especially disappointing because the design itself is exactly what I was looking for. The listing also states that this bed is compatible with an adjustable base. While our adjustable base fits inside the bed frame, when we raise the mattress and then return the base to the flat position, the mattress gets caught on the bed frame and does not come back down properly. We have to manually push the mattress back into place every time. So, although an adjustable base technically fits, I would not consider it fully functional or truly compatible with one. I’m adding photos to hopefully help anyone considering this bed. The style is beautiful, but if you’re specifically looking for a warm beige or oatmeal color or regularly use the adjustable functions of your base, these are definitely things to consider before purchasing.. Abby. Jasper, IN. Mon Sep 28 2026

This upholstered panel bed brings substantial scale and tailored character to the bedroom with its 57.5-inch headboard and matching upholstered footboard. The approximately 4.7-inch-thick headboard features generous padding, creating a comfortable surface for reading or relaxing. Contrast piping outlines the upholstered panels for added definition, while turned solid wood legs introduce a refined furniture-inspired detail. Beneath the frame, closely spaced wooden slats and reinforced support legs help distribute mattress weight for dependable everyday support. Its balanced proportions and soft upholstery complement refined modern, transitional, and softly French-inspired interiors. Two adults can complete assembly in approximately 30 minutes.

This upholstered bed is gorgeous. I love the natural cream color and light tan piping on the ends. I was worried it was going to look cheap but looks very expensive and I love the calm feeling it brings to my bedroom. There were several other cream upholstered bed frames (very popular ones) that I considered before purchasing this one, but due to my high ceilings I needed a taller headboard and this definitely fits the bill. It was a bit more expensive but this is my second Birch Lane bed frame and I know I am getting excellent quality with it. Highly recommend this beautiful bed frame.. Christina. Hawthorn Woods. Its warm Boulder medium-brown finish frames a softly upholstered headboard and base, creating a serene and inviting focal point for your bedroom. Beautiful bed. Appears to be quite sturdy. The wood color is a nice blend of gray and brown. It will need a box spring for sure. The slats sit very low, so the box spring is needed to keep the mattress at the level of the sides of the bed. Otherwise, changing the sheets would be a real bear.. Pam. Indialantic, FL. Espresso legs contrast nicely with the neutral fabric upholstery, adding to the overall sophisticated look of this handsome bed.

The bed is perfect for my daughter's room! The blue linen is gorgeous! The headboard and bedframe seem to be very sturdy. The white-glove delivery and assembly were top-notch. (I did edit out all of the junk in the room for the photo.). Kim. Augusta, GA. Thu Sep 10 2026

Transform your bedroom into a haven of timeless beauty with a bed designed to bring warmth, charm, and quiet sophistication to your space. Resting on graceful square, tapered legs, it strikes the perfect balance between classic and modern elegance. Choose the finish that speaks to your personal style, rich oak for natural warmth or crisp white for a fresh, airy feel. Each crafted from a thoughtful blend of hardwood solids and oak veneers. The scalloped headboard, framed with delicate picture-frame molding, adds a soft, sculpted silhouette that invites you to unwind, creating a romantic focal point that elevates the entire room. Available in both King and Queen, this bed is designed for both beauty and simplicity: a box spring isn’t required, thanks to the included mattress support slats that offer stability, comfort, and ease. Graceful, sturdy, and wonderfully inviting, this bed brings enduring style and everyday comfort together, ready to become the heart of your bedroom retreat.

Absolutely love the look of this bed! Fabulous quality in terms of how sturdy it is. Delivery was spot on. I docked a star due to a few flaws in headboard. Tiffany. Woodland, WA. Wed Jul 29 2026
