I’m a female and was able to build it by myself. Split building into two evenings and took about 7 hours total (I was going slowly and making sure each step was done correctly). Instructions were clear, holes aligned well, and everything came together nicely! The most building I’ve done for a piece of furniture but totally worth it! I built it a couple hours at a time over 3 days so probably a 6 hour build time. Everything arrived in perfect condition and neatly packed. Directions made sense and were clear. The vanity is just as it appears on the site. Assembly may take about 2.5-3 hours if done alone, but otherwise instructions are clear. The overall piece is lovely, but I will say to be mindful when using a drill. The material peels quite easily. The chair may be too low if you have a short torso, so be prepared not to see a your full upper body in the mirror while seated.
