The stools were packaged well and are very sturdy. They are very stiff and not as wide at the seat as I thought they would be. We ran into an issue where the seats had some staining on them due to the silica packets, getting damp and rubbing on the tag that was maroon, which caused it to get on the fabric. I called Wayfair that night, while we were putting together the stools and noticed the staining, and the gentleman that helped me couldn't have been any kinder or more thorough with getting my information. He gave my information to the manufacturer, and they took care of me right away and we very easily I came to a solution. For now, you have me telling you, that if you are buying this for the Dodge Kitchen Island, and especially if you are putting the wheels on that island which puts the counter at 38" high, consider buying the 30" inch stools, Ok? The Mahogany stools are not as dark as the counter top, but the black would not have matched either, soooo . . . it is what it is; we still love them because they are GORGEOUS !! Great product for the price. Easy to assemble, no broken or missing parts. Delivery came as expected. These stools are great for a kitchen islandbar and don’t take any space when not being used. We’ve had to tighten the legs occasionally from using them, but have had them for 6 years now and still going strong with daily use and grandkids onoff them weekly.
