This table is so beautiful in person and is so well made. We have 4 dining chairs regularly, but we keep 2 extra on each side of our buffet and add them when we need more seating. 6 people can definitely fit, but note that they will be sitting with the legs in between them due to the design of the base. Very pretty love the style of the base. - easy to pull in chairs tight and give lots of spare room around table for small spaces. The table top is more of a manufactured wood look then a stone look or a wood look it’s pretty but a little bit manufactured looking. The color is very neutral. Great table! We wanted something larger and expandable for dinner parties and family holiday get-togethers. This is a modern, cool looking table that fit the bill perfectly. The knife edge really makes it look sharp! (Pun intended.) It is a dark brown/grey so we paired it with saddle-colored PU leather chairs to give some brightness to the space. Looks fabulous. We are so pleased with this table!! Plus, Wayfair customer service again proved unbeatable. When we purchased the table, the Wayfair.com description said "fully assembled" which it was not, and was key for us because this is a very heavy table. So, Wayfair refunded us a portion of the purchase price, which definitely made up for the discrepancy. (They have since updated the description.) As for pricing, I found this table on other web sites and it was very close to the other prices listed. A unique base, with the wrapped aluminum providing balance to the weight of the thick 60-inch top. Verite features sawn planks of European white oak in their natural state and will show all of the hallmarks of naturally dried wood, including knots, color variation, and cracking. Although finished in a highly protective top coat, every Verite top will vary in appearance and coloration from piece to piece.

Utilizing the leaf extends the table and seats 10 comfortably. The iron stretcher is finished in a warm metallic with a hint of copper.

We love this table. It is well built and the color is very nice. We bought dining chairs on Wayfair and they compliment the table well.
