Gorgeous table, large, sturdy, pretty easy to extend, but I'm disappointed with the quality of the top. FYI 'engineered wood' top means a wood-look laminate type finish over top of particle board. It's attractive but the lines in the picture are actually grooves which every single crumb gets stuck in, but even worse, if any water gets in there it soaks in and bubbles the surface. I had very specific criteria I was looking for in an everyday table. I wanted a pedestal base, an oval or round top with a leaf, cream/off-white with a dark wood top. it either had to match my existing chairs or have chairs without fabric. I also had a budget in mind. I know I'm extremely picky. I have been looking on and off for the right table for almost 4 years. Even after I order the table I texted my husband and said I'm probably going to hate it. I ordered it on a Thursday and it arrived unexpectedly early on Saturday morning and we put it together easily. 2 bolts per foot and 4 bolts for the top. nothing was damaged in shipping and the table is an almost perfect match to the existing pieces in the room. The base is a little more on the white/gray side then cream but in the shade of the table its not noticeable. We will most likely always have the leaf in but the mechanism worked fine and everything fit together well and it feels sturdy. The table was delivered in two boxes, one for the tabletop and the other with the pedestal. The tabletop delivery was fine hardware and assembly instructions were included. The issue was that the pedestal was missing from the second box only the table feet arrived, no hardware, no assembly instructions. After contact with Wayfair, the pedestal was delivered still no hardware nor instructions even though that information was conveyed.
