This is a very beautiful, high quality, chair. It is on the heavy side because I believe it is solid wood. It is finished with a smooth shiny coating. These chairs are exactly what I was looking for. The pictures don’t do them justice. The color in person is very rich. They are comfy which allows you to sit in them for hours. The picture for my tried and true products is wrong. When I go to review these tried and true chairs that I have, the other set I ordered comes up. So I’m going to just review the chairs that I received first. Again the picture doesn’t match. The chairs you can see clearly in the photos. I LOVE these chairs!! Super easy to put together and I did it all by myself in like 20-30 minutes. They are gorgeous!! The gray is soft and silky, the seat is wide and comfy with the curved back hugging you and the curved back also offers arm rests. Perfect for the games room poker table! The table is also a Wayfair find. I’m very pleased at the way it turned out. This was the cherry on top…these beautiful, retro mid century chairs are strong and sturdy, assembly is cake and the look is spot on. I really lovedig these unique chairs for my fun games room. Pretty much everything in that room came from Wayfair. I’m putting down new light wood floors and painting the brown walls, but you get the general idea.
