It’s a big piece of heavy furniture and it’s perfect. Assembly was pretty straightforward and feels over engineered. The mattress that comes with it is quite thin but that’s based on my preference ! Would highly recommend this for that need of an extra bed, but not a ton of space. Jarrod. Sun Aug 09 2026

I bought this Murphy bed for my guest bedroom and its exactly what I was looking for. Assembly was definitely a challenge (instructions were good, but lots of heavymoving pieces), but for the price it was worth it. The looks great! If you are not a pro putting this things together, hire someone or just don’t buy it. I have put together at least a couple of dozen do it yourself furniture and had not encountered anything as difficult as this. The instructions are very poor and the QR codes weren’t that much help. You also will need 3 to 4 people to bolt it against the wall.. Rafael. Oldsmar, FL. Mon Jul 27 2026

[Bed with Desk and LED Light] The unique design of the Murphy bed allows it effortlessly switch from desk mode to bed mode, making the most of every inch of your space, adding more flexibility to your living space. Ideal for guest/study room, home office, or home gym.The LED light comes with 3 colors:yellow, white and light blue.

I got it, and it sucked to put together. I wanted a Murphy bed to maximize space in my room, and it does help with that. But sleeping on it is a little concerning. The look itself isn't very comforting. There's a big space between where your mattress goes and the inside of it, and it feels like it should be filled otherwise it's unsettling. Then the product says that it's weight capacity is 500 lbs. I am roughly 300 ish lbs and I feel like I have to be careful with it or else it could break. I also suggest getting some bricks or something to put in the center of this thing for when you pull the bed down, because it only supports the 4 corners and it feels like it absolutely should have had some sort of leg or something in the center for more security. This thing doesn't feel like it's gonna last for a year, sadly. If you want a decent murohy bed, maybe wayfair as a whole isn't the place to look.. Anonymous. Fri Sep 11 2026

Looks beautiful! Some parts came damaged but got replacements super quick with no problem. When putting together you have to take apart the metal sliding tracks to install. Only part I got stuck on. You have to slide it twice before you can see the latch to release the third part. Also beware the metal parts have oil goop in the crevices. Gets on your hands when sliding them apart but washes off easily. Will have to buy another mattress to go with the one provided. Personal preference but the mattress it comes with seems thin. Overall happy with purchase and would recommend!. Tanisha. Chicago, IL. Wed Sep 16 2026
