Very challenging to construct this bed. It took us a couple of days. But it looks beautiful in our guest room!. Vickie. Roundup, MT. Thu Sep 24 2026

Assembly was two people. I didnt find it difficult, just took time. The white painted finish has some cracking. Not too noticeable. My daughter spent 5 nights on the bed -said it was comfortable. She did crack one of the slats in two sitting on the edge. I may be able to repair. Net net, it is serving its purpose for occasional house guests. I flanked the cabinet with two tall bookcases also purchased on Wayfair. Jillian. Saint Paul, MN. Sun Sep 13 2026

Instantly turn any room in your home into a comfortable sleeping space with a Murphy Bed that’s been meticulously designed and tested with your safety in mind. The Queen Murphy Bed and 2 Shelving Units (115W) is the ideal space saver for a multipurpose room. The mattress support uses flexible slats that follow the curves of the body and absorb pressure for maximum comfort. The Queen Murphy bed can be used every night for a good night’s sleep. The bed folds up and down smoothly within seconds. The wall bed accommodates most standard Queen mattresses (8-12 inches thick, 60-90 lb, 60 x 80 inches) and supports up to 1000 lb (including mattress). The open bed extends 92 inches from the wall. The cabinet must be anchored to a wall with a minimum ceiling height of 91.1 inches. Allow a clearance of 30-36 inches around the open bed. Both shelving units come with 2 fixed and 3 adjustable shelves to hold your belongings. The dual-mount wall bed mechanism attaches to the floor and wall for ease of assembly and maximum stability and durability. To avoid risk of injury, the Murphy bed must be installed to wall and floor structure by a professional or qualified person. Two people are required for assembly. Installation requires attachment to wood studs or masonry, removal of the baseboard, and drilling into the floor (if disassembly is required, holes may be covered with baseboards 0.5 inches or thicker). All necessary hardware is included. Do not use this product for children or pets under 50 pounds (22.7 kg). Backed by the 10 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty. North American made with globally sourced materials.
