It is a solid large desk that looks good and is very functional. Unfortunately, the color is not accurate compared to the pictures online. The pictures show a lighter color like white oak; however the actual desk is much more warm and more yellow and orange. When I cleaned the desk the first time with a microfiber cloth and a daily wood cleaner there was a pink color transfer to the cloth.. Eric. CA. Tue Sep 08 2026

Pros: shorter but still substantial hutch, lower shelf, 2 drawers, over 40", nice color, nice looking design, assembly is logical and intuitive. I'd been looking for a desk with exactly this type and configuration of storage options forever. Cons: flimsy (my elbow weight bends the surface while typing on a laptop), drawers are too shallow (~2"), exposed screw/fastening holes, you have to drill/force the holes for assembly of lower shelf and for the hooks, odd surface/base alignment, edges are sharp and uncomfortable..
