Gorgeous linen white color that matches our walls perfectly. Shipping took longer than expected. I ordered 2 of these and each has some slight imperfections from handling. Overall happy with bookcase as it serves it's purpose. Nice and heavy but there in lies a problem as it ships in 1 package. Packaging looked very rough and delivered with a corner damaged. FedEx driver warned me it was unusually heavy and helped me carry it into house. Luckily you can't see the damage as it's on bottom unless you're looking for it. Nitpicking wise the top trim piece does not line up flush and isn't adjustable as guide piece is glued on so it sits a little crooked on top. Again overall happy with product, would buy again.. I really like this bookcase. If fits perfectly in the space I had for it in my office. It’s very well made and heavy duty. I’ve never had anything made out of rubber wood before when I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It has a very prominent grain similar to oak. I purchased the 3-shelf size, 36" H X 48" wide. It holds my entire cookbook collection and does double duty as a divider between the foyer and kitchen/dining area. Beautiful, heavy wood in the mission style. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the backing. I wish furniture manufacturers would stop to consider that not every piece of furniture is going to be put against a wall, so it would be nice to have a decent backing. The back of this bookcase is some sort of shiny, vinyl covered panel and the color is awful. Maybe it was meant to be faux marble, but they missed by a mile.
