Bring natural warmth and effortless style to your home office with this 84-inch solid wood writing desk — a generous, open-plan workspace that pairs serious surface area with the refined simplicity of Scandinavian-farmhouse design. Crafted from 100% solid pine wood, the desktop delivers a naturally textured surface that improves with age, while the subtle fluted apron detailing along the sides adds architectural dimension without competing with the clean-lined silhouette. At 84 inches wide, the surface accommodates dual monitors, a laptop, drawing materials, or a full professional spread with room to spare — making it equally at home in a dedicated home office, a creative studio, or a study room. Four thick solid wood legs provide a grounded, stable base that remains firm through long work sessions and daily use. Hardware-free and unadorned, this desk integrates effortlessly with a wide range of office chairs, shelving, and accent furniture — from modern minimalist to rustic farmhouse and everything in between.

It is a solid large desk that looks good and is very functional. Unfortunately, the color is not accurate compared to the pictures online. The pictures show a lighter color like white oak; however the actual desk is much more warm and more yellow and orange. The fluted section of the desk does not match the color of the rest of the desk and is a different material. When I cleaned the desk the first time with a microfiber cloth and a daily wood cleaner there was a pink color transfer to the cloth.. Eric. CA. Tue Sep 08 2026

Pros: shorter but still substantial hutch, lower shelf, 2 drawers, over 40", nice color, nice looking design, assembly is logical and intuitive. I'd been looking for a desk with exactly this type and configuration of storage options forever. Cons: flimsy (my elbow weight bends the surface while typing on a laptop), drawers are too shallow (~2"), exposed screw/fastening holes, you have to drill/force the holes for assembly of lower shelf and for the hooks, odd surface/base alignment, edges are sharp and uncomfortable.. Jessica. Detroit, MI. Tue Sep 15 2026

I’ve had it for about a year now, used as a vanity. I’ve been putting drinks on it and doing my makeup every day, using hot tools, and there’s little to no wear on the top. Nice wood grain. It’s a little wobbly if you really press on it but it’s been great and looks great and I love it!. Jil. Portland, OR. Tue Jul 07 2026

Deep drawers hold a ream of paper or drill. Perfect for scrapbooking, project rooms, kitchens, garages, or offices. On wheels with gate, leg extension provides additional space to complete projects.

Easy assembly. Solid piece of furniture. It would be better if the screws were labeled more clearly as some are very similar and one went through the top. There were also a few extra pieces that looked like drawer bottoms but were perhaps packing material.. Elizabeth. Chicago, IL. Mon Sep 07 2026

This little desk was very easy to put together and fits really well in my space. I changed out the knobs to match cabinetry in my room. The wood is beautiful and intentionally slightly distressed, which gives it character. I’ll probably put a desk pad or a glass on top as because it’s made of soft wood. But I love it!. Sherri.
